Routes & Schedules
Where do you want to go? What do you want to see? Getting there is easy with the CMRTA. Our fixed route and DART systems provide convenient access to schools, businesses, hospitals, shopping and entertainment throughout the Midlands area.

Looking for detailed information and time schedules for a specific route? To help make traveling throughout the Midlands easier, downloadable maps and time schedules are available for each individual route. Copies are also available at the Transfer Station located on the corner of Sumter and Laurel Streets or by calling the CMRTA at (803) 255-7100.
In addition to the regular fixed route service, Dial-A-Ride Transit (DART) service is also available in the Midlands to anyone certified as unable to use the regular fixed route service due to a physical or mental disability. Please refer to the DART/ADA Accessibility section for additional information.

Two Notch Rd between the Columbia Place Mall and the Village at Sandhill. SC Research Park, Sesquicentennial State Park, Sparkleberry Square. Only goes to the Transit Center twice per day.
Route 36A Crosstown Westbound
Departs from the Shoppes at Woodhill, Midlands Technical College-Beltline Campus, Richland Mall, Palmetto Health Richland, Boozer Shopping Center, Dutch Square, DMV, Remington College, Bush River Rd Wal-Mart, Clusters Shopping Center, Irmo High School, Harbison Blvd, Bower Parkway, Wal-Mart on Park Terrace Drive, Columbiana Centre. This Route does not go to the Transit Center.
Route 36B Crosstown Eastbound
Departs from the Wal-Mart on Park Terrace Drive by the Sam's Club. Harbison Blvd, Irmo High School, Clusters Shopping Center, Bush River Rd Wal-Mart, Remington College, DMV, Dutch Square, Boozer Shopping Center, Palmetto Health Richland, Midlands Technical College-Beltline Campus, Shoppes at Woodhill. This Route does not go to the Transit Center.

CMRTA no longer operates SMARTRIDE but the service is still running. Please contact the Newberry County Council on Againg at 803-276-8266
(Late night bus service to USC Vista and Five Points free to USC students and $1.50 for the public)
